Is the wedding outdoors?

Yes. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on a lawn and deck, with cocktail hour located down a pathway in a mulched area. We recommend comfortable footwear suitable for walking on natural surfaces. While daytime weather is typically mild, evenings in the mountains can be cool, so a light jacket or wrap is recommended. The afterparty will be located indoors.

Are children welcome?

Children are welcome, but we encourage guests to consider this weekend as a romantic getaway or date night if possible. We understand that every family’s situation is different and are grateful to celebrate with you in whatever way works best over the three days.

What is the dress code?

Summer Formal.
Think elevated but comfortable—suits or tuxes, cocktail or floor-length dresses. See the "Event Details" page for inspiration photos.

Is transportation to the wedding location provided?

Yes, Nakoma will provide shuttle transportation for all guests staying on property. Ample parking is available at the Frank Lloyd Wright Lodge for those staying elsewhere.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. We'll do our best to accommodate.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
